Ver Clumped on Polymer Clay Daily!

Woo-hooooo! Another feature on PCD - SO COOL!  Toot, toot, toot (that's my own horn, don'tcha know...)

My creation is the ivory colored one on the left. It's one of the four pieces I just finished in order to submit them to for a show at the BEST local mixed media store, Zinnia in South Pasadena. This link goes to their blog, which has a link to the store. So.

Zinnia occasionally has shows like this - the last one was a couple of years ago, with a Cirque Bizarre theme. This time it's "Petit Valentins," and is about.....wait for it....small valentines!!! You can use any medium, but your creation must be within 5" x 5" and be ready to hang on the wall.

We talked about it at last month's meeting of my local art sistahs, and many of us are submitting several pieces, so we could have quite a showing there!  Here's another pic of my "Ver Clumped" piece:
Zinnia will have an opening on Saturday, February 11 at 6 pm, as part of the South Pasadena Arts Crawl, so if you're in the area, come on out!

Here's the second of the four pieces I submitted -

This one started out just as a polymer heart. Then I started sticking stuff to it. Earrings and little bits of old jewelry and then red crystals and finally black rhinestones. It's stuck full o'jools!

I will show you the remaining two later - have a great rest of your week, my lovelies!

Oh - p.s. - did I tell you that all my heart pendants are on sale in my Etsy shop? Ten bucks each - what a deal!  And you can pick up a neckwire to go with for only another buckarooney! Go get some!

Laurel, you're so talented - both of your heart pieces for the Zinnia show are amazing. Can't wait to see them in person.
