I am using my pay-as-you-go cell phone. Fine.
So. I have to find a way to maintain internet access, and end up purchasing a Verizon wireless data card for $25 bucks at Fry's. Never having had to pay attention to how much data I was using, I did my best with the help of the salesman to pick a plan that I could afford and still do what I need to do online. This ended up being 5G a month. Turns out that's not nearly enough, so I've been rationing my computer usage, right? Let's not even mention the fact that I can't pay THIS bill either.
Part of rationing my access is checking my email on my cell phone. Which worked GREAT....until it didn't. A few days ago I couldn't sign on to my Yahoo account from my phone. I kept entering the info, over and over, and it doesn't say it's WRONG, it just doesn't sign me on. Keeps bringing me back to the sign on screen. And I'm using mucho minutes doing this.
So I go to Yahoo help, do all the stuff they suggest (which isn't much,) but verify my password, that it works on the mobile site, reset my phone, etc. No joy.
So I go to the TracFone site for help. Have to register for their Forums to do it. Have to post the question, so I do that. I get the standard reply:
What? Make multiple posts so I can reply to the message??? That's insane. But okay. I'm posting....I'm posting....
I'm....not allowed to post?
This is frikkin' insane.
The other way I can extend my internet access is by going to Starbucks (or Denny's, which is cool, they're both right up the street from me), right? Well, not when your laptop battery only holds a charge for 3 minutes. I just used what was in my PayPal account to order a new battery.
Such is my life. Pray for a job for me!

oh man....that is sooo ridiculous of trac fone. If you want to use less data if you go to internet tools in your computer browser and click on content...then unclick load images automatically.
I've been on limited internet access and this will help some!
Thanks for the tip!
They sure don't make it easy do they.

Hope you can find a job and things pick up for you. I just saw some of your pendants for the first time and they are so pretty. Will be checking out your shop next.
G...your life sounds so similar to mine it's unreal. I've had a year that sounds so familiar. State your desires outload to the universe & know in your heart they can happen. Keep your thought possitive & your heart open. When I get down & think the powers that be may not be listening, I'll tell myself over & over "I AM the sparrow" & I know then that he watches over me.
So sorry to hear you've gone through all this trouble and still no help in the end!
I'm glad I read Terri's blog to find you! Your pieces are amazing!
Thank you so much, all of you - for your kind and encouraging words. It means a great deal to me.
That has always happened with my droid, not being able to sign in to my yahoo because it says me password is incorrect. Sooooo annoying. Anywyays, affirm to the universe that it will always provide to you what you need. And you never know, the universe works in mysterious ways, maybe all these things happening will lead you to a place/event that will change your life :) I would say good luck, but you don't need it. The angels are on your side.
Dear Lauren,
You are a great artist. I love what you create. Soon you'll find things changing. Just believe it. Hope I could give you a hug.
Believe me, things will soon for you. I don't know you personally, I pray for you and many like me are doing that for you.
With love -
Dita.

Your pendants are amazing... I'm going to do my part to get the word out on your beautiful work. I'm also sending best wishes and strength to weather this storm. Hope you won't have to wait long...
Laurel, you know I'm your biggest fan. It hurts my heart to hear of your struggles.
I have come to the conclusion the business world in LA is full of a bunch of idiots, for at least one of them not to have snapped up a gem like you. You could run any office singlehandedly!
I'm sorry for your troubles. Here's hoping you get another job. I'm bookmarking your site so I can come back and get some pendants. Love and hugs. beetique@gmail.com
